Toronto’s New Rockstar Loonie Blue takes the stage with “Life Goes On”
Canada has it’s fair share of rock music that has a life of its own. From rockstars to diverse icons, the Toronto music scene has churned out musical prodigies like K-OS, Saukrates, Roy Woods, Drake, Tory Lanez & Abel Tesfaye.
Fast forward to 2022 and Loonie Blue is the obvious 3.0 contender who from first looks brings to life the image of a true Rockstar who has let go of life and is on the brink of vulnerable stardom.
In “Life Goes On” Loonie Blue somehow manages to eek out an infectious & “dancey” tune from that ether & finds a quirky yet covert way of signaling that everything will be ok if we just follow him to the dancefloor.
Take in his latest EP White Girl Soundtrack above, a fine mosaic of modern-day underground heat with emerging Toronto House-Rap star TyriqueOrDie in a rare performance & established ultra-talented crooner Benny Mayne. Watch out for them all this year as the 6 is looking overly ready for a year that should have it’s share of new-generation stars making their debut.
